“Gritty. True. Compulsively readable. This is his best book.”– Gregg Olsen, NY Times Best Selling Author

A narcissistic professional photographer lived a dangerous double life as a serial killer. He’d focus his rage on prostitutes mostly. It wasn’t uncommon for him to bring them home then try to explain why they were there to his wife.

Sexual urges met, the killer would strangle his victims and dump their bodies in places he knew the police would eventually find them. The evil murderer needed the world to know that he was smarter than the police and women meant nothing to him but a necessary sexual inconvenience.

Then, by a stroke of chance and aggressive police work, the wheels of justice stumbled upon a lead. It was nothing more than a lined sheet of paper that read, “List of 10,” but shortly after its discovery, a task force was created and a serial killer was nabbed.

This book is about the victims he left behind, not the person who took their lives. I will never condone such actions, nor will I try to rationalize his behavior. He will go to the grave, hopefully sooner rather than later, knowing the identity of four women from his fabled List of 10. It’s his sick way of showing people he’s still in charge.

His name is Joseph Naso, and this book will grip you from the beginning and won’t let you go until the final word.

Political/Science/History – The Fix Is In

the-fix-is-inThe Fix Is In
The Deutsche Bank Building Fire Conspiracy
J. A. Graffagnino
Publisher: AuthorHouse
Published: August 2016
ISBN: 978-1524618841
ASIN: B01KOQUUZY
Pages: 338
Genre: Non-Fiction, Political, Science, History

Finally, the truth is revealed about Manhattan’s Deutsche Bank building fire. The devastating fire at 130 Liberty Street in the heart of Manhattan’s financial center – a short distance from what was the World Trade Center – was one of the worst fires in New York City’s history. Two firefighters were killed, and 105 were injured. One of the firefighters killed during the horrific fire was author Graffagnino’s son, Joey.

Graffagnino refused to believe what high-level government decision makers were telling the public – that the fire was an accident.

After eight years of relentless research in pursuit of the truth – combing through public records and interviewing firefighters on the scene, government officials, informed observers, whistleblowers and eyewitnesses – Graffagnino uncovered the truth. The horrific seven-alarm Deutsche Bank building fire was no accident. And all efforts to quell the raging inferno were in vain.

The Fix Is In is not based upon a conspiracy theory, opinion or undocumented rumors, but confirmed facts. Graffagnino places blame where it belongs and exposes the people who benefitted from the catastrophe.

Find out for yourself. Discover the disturbing truth about a calculated and complex conspiracy involving top governmental agencies, corporate leaders and organized crime figures.

“The Deutsche Bank fire was preventable,” said FDNY Captain Simon Ressner. “Preventive measures were deliberately sidestepped in the name of ambition and in the name of money.”

Environment – Climate Change, Land Use and Monetary Policy: The New Trifecta

Climate Change, Land Use and Monetary PolicyClimate Change, Land Use and Monetary Policy: The New Trifecta
By Geraldine Perry
Publisher: Wasteland Press
ISBN: 978-1600479274
ASIN: B00I9HKILC
Pages: 290
Genre: Non-Fiction, Environment

Climate Change, Land Use and Monetary Policy: The New Trifecta by Geraldine Perry argues that it is land use, not fossil fuel burning per se, which drives that portion of climate change attributable to human activity, and it is, in turn, monetary policy that has driven land use since the days of ancient Mesopotamia. We must come to terms with the fact that our current, single-minded fixation on CO2 reduction will only keep us on the present trajectory of planetary destruction – even as it makes boatloads of money for all manner of “stock-jobbers” and industry insiders who have managed to turn CO2 into a trade-able commodity. All of this is, in large part, due to our own oversimplification and misunderstanding of the scientific and monetary questions. Yet there are solutions if we only choose to look. The first portion of the book focuses on the relationship between climate change and land use, particularly in the agriculture and energy arenas. You’ll be introduced to a unique form of agriculture, often referred to as regenerative or perennial agriculture, through which it is possible to dramatically reduce CO2 and associated soil and water pollution. At the same time, this type of agriculture helps to rebuild our dangerously depleted agricultural soils. Surprisingly, this form of agriculture can also dramatically reduce the amount of land devoted to food production, and provide us with the astonishing ability to feed the world’s billions 20 or 30 times over with high quality, nutritious foods. “Land-friendly” energy alternatives are also touched upon, which bear little resemblance to today’s land-hungry “clean” or “green” energy alternatives, and yet hold amazing promise for a truly “green” future. The later portion of the book explores the relationship between land use and monetary policy which the modern world inherited from ancient Mesopotamia. It is the extractive nature of this monetary system that encourages the high-risk gambling characteristic of trifecta bets that destroys the land and deprives the people of the fruits of their labor. Land use is the problem and “land-friendly” monetary reform is the solution.
