Sniffing Out Murder Author Maria Grazia SwanAbout the Author:
Best selling author Maria Grazia Swan was born in Italy, but this rolling stone has definitely gathered no moss. She lived in Belgium, France, Germany, in beautiful Orange County, California where she raised her family, and is currently at home in Phoenix, Arizona–but stay tuned for weekly updates of Where in the World is Maria Grazia Swan?

As a young girl, her vivid imagination predestined her to be a writer. She won her first literary award at the age of fourteen while living in Belgium. As a young woman Maria returned to Italy to design for–ooh-la-la–haute couture. Once in the U.S. and after years of concentrating on family, she tackled real estate. These days her time is devoted to her deepest passions: writing and helping people and pets find the perfect home.

Maria loves travel, opera, good books, hiking, and intelligent movies (if she can find one, that is). When asked about her idea of a perfect evening, she favors stimulating conversation, Northern Italian food and perfectly chilled Prosecco–but then, who doesn’t?

Two widows living in a retirement community in Middle Tennessee are not content living in the paradise known as Fairlawn Glen. Social activities and rural beauty are not enough for Leslie & Belinda. Leslie, in particular, finds paradise to be boring, and she sees mystery and life threatening peril everywhere. When the annual Highway 127 yard sale starts in August, and runs right through the Glen’s closest city, the congestion and carnival-like atmosphere has a Leslie & Belinda Mystery written all over it. When Leslie happens upon a body left in a shed like so much yard sale detritus, she endeavors to solve the murder along with best friend, Belinda. After all, as Leslie states, “When people find a dead body, those people have the responsibility of finding out how and why that person ended up dead.” Leslie’s eight pound Maltese-mixed-with-some-other-kind-of-small-dog is right in the middle of the mystery and peril—as always.

harrington-manor-author-ronald-m-jamesAbout the Author:
Ronald M. James was born during the great depression, and as a toddler watched WPA men build a new street, from his home’s big front window. His playmates were a red rider wagon, a small black satchel and rocks. By using his imagination he had conversations with mythical street workers that bloomed into fashioned fantasies by age four. He used cardboard boxes to create fun spaces for his neighborhood playmates to enjoy and he kept telling stories all through high school. In college he abandoned writing and studied architecture. James had a successful architectural career and retired, however he wanted to keep his creative juices fluent, so he returned to his childhood story telling days and joined a writers group. Like architecture, each day he couldn’t wait to create, finish, and start new stories—like this one, An Adventurous Night.

Mystery/Suspense – The Place Where The Giant Fell

By John Henry Hardy
Published: May 2016
ISBN: 978-1523973156
ASIN: B01G68S204
Pages: 168
Genre: Mystery, Suspense, Thriller

Carrie Ann Benton and Rodney Buchard have been in love since grammar school. Her father, federal judge Horace Benton, has forbidden them to see each other. The reason? Rodney’s mother is Mexican, a fact that will hurt Horace’s prospects of becoming governor of Arizona–and one day, maybe president of the United States.

The judge needs the money and support of affluent voters–which excludes the likes of a so-called “half-breed” like Rodney. Instead, Horace aligns himself with the state’s many powerful cattlemen.

Defying her father’s wishes, Carrie continues her secret romance at an undisclosed rendezvous point inside Fire Mountain, unaware that someone is tracking them–someone prepared to end their relationship for good. Meanwhile, Earl, a wealthy cattle baron’s son, is duped into following their trail in hopes of professing his love to Carrie and separating her from Rodney once and for all.

After an accidental death, US Marshal Max Greystone arrives to investigate and begins to unravel a twisted web of lies, deceit, and intrigue. Will the truth be uncovered before more people lose their lives?
