When Katherine Agranovich hypnotizes her daughter Jessica to pass a math quiz, the teenager reports seeing two angels who give her sage advice. With that, the gates of consciousness fly open and the realm of spirit bursts through, propelling the Agranovich clan on a rollercoaster ride full of mystical visions, spiritual insights and shocking premonitions.

But are they ready?

This book takes readers inside the large, loud Agranovich household, where otherworldly encounters are accepted like grades and shoe sizes, and homework is often a cosmic lesson. Each day takes the family on a quirky spiritual adventure where “weird, crazy and abnormal” become the norm. Their young son is startled awake by a headless man, their daughter banishes obnoxious ghosts from her grandparents’ home and is whisked into the future to her wedding day.

Even Katherine’s non-psychic husband, Felix, betrayed by his business partner, meets an astral financial advisor who offers sound advice in the midst of an economic crisis.

But in order to embrace their children’s spirituality, Felix and Katherine, atheist Jewish refugees from Soviet Russia, have to undergo profound spiritual transformation themselves. Tales of My Large, Loud, Spiritual Family offers hope, courage and inspiration to parents committed to raising their children as spiritual beings.

The stories in this book will mystify you, enchant you, and change your view of family dynamics forever.

The brain is a malleable, transformable and improved body. Neuroplasticity is learning new, complex, difficult tasks because that is what forces us to exercise mental muscles.

The main character realizes that in order to change her life, she has to train her brain by changing activities and learning new tasks, so her brain becomes more resilient and able to re-educate it.

Martha is mistreated in her family but she survives her childhood thanks to her best friend, Matthew, and in her teenage she finds out who actually is that friend full of wisdom and knowledge. She follows her dreams in a catholic mission in Mexico and with Mother Theresa in India, but she doesn’t accept the mentality there and finds a different path.

She knows there’s more in life than doing the same things like all the others. It’s just about the essential wisdom of listening to our inner self and following our dreams, even though it takes long time because still it’s difficult to erase the imprints engraved in our brains since childhood. From her experiences in life, she learns about friendship, relationships, education, work, money, as well as faith, intuition, inner self, psychic phenomena and past lives. One should take risks, daring to do something even if people is always telling you not to.

By asking thought provoking questions and examining the root cause of why our Plan B often becomes our Plan A, Rod begins to balance facing the enemy of fear and finding inner peace.

Why does someone’s plan B often become plan A? This is the question at the center of Travel in Peace: The Soundtrack of My Escape. By finding the root cause of why passion (plan A) is often left behind for security (plan B), Rod Harris begins to reconcile his fears and find inner peace. In his debut novel, Rod shares his journey through life and around the globe with his spiritual compass as a guide.

When he was younger, Rod Harris was told he needed a plan B in case his dreams of a creative career in the music industry were not fruitful. He held on to those words and allowed fear to paralyze him for years, causing him to travel a path, crowded with regret.  His fear of failure caused him to withdraw from fully pursuing his passion, and climbing the ladder in the corporate world as a successful executive, his plan B. At the suggestion of a therapist, Rod traces his bouts with depression and suicide, in this book, and pinpoints the significant turning points, which led him further away for his ultimate destination of peace Travel in Peace documents Rod’s inner conflict as he travels through life trying to overcome his fear of failure, fulfill his passion for music and trust in God’s plan for his life. Travel in Peace begins with Rod’s childhood in Compton, California, his move to Europe as a young adult and his subsequent return to the United States. Rod writes about the experiences in his life that have had the most influence on him, like his strong religious upbringing, love of music, unhealthy relationships, and traveling the world. Interwoven in the pages of the novel are songs written during different phases of Rod’s life to show how those experiences transformed him creatively and personally.

Rod has also penned an accompanying soundtrack called Travel in Peace: The Soundtrack for Your Escape. Both the novel and soundtrack refresh the mind, body and spirit. Rod’s personal rejuvenation in the novel helps readers identify and ponder recognize their own fears and find their own unique path to inner serenity. Spiritual Memoir – The Year of YES!

The Year of YES!The Year of YES!
What if you said YES! to everything your Soul told you to do for one year?
By Tracee Sioux
Publisher: Sioux Ink
Published: November 2014
ISBN: 978-0990776208
Pages: 473
Genre: Spiritual Memoir

What happens when you say YES! to everything your Soul tells you to do for one year? The Year of YES! is one woman’s spiritual journey to free herself from the conventions that bound her Soul. This memoir is a raw, unflinching confrontation with the pain and regrets of a jagged past, an exploration of sacred (and not-so-sacred) sex, a slaying of demons, a baptism, and a transmutation of self.

Tracee Sioux starts her Year of YES! on the heels of a divorce. Having tanked her career for motherhood, she was making $600 a month and feeding her kids from the food bank. Yet, her Soul made a promise: Follow me, I know where I’m going, I know the fastest, easiest way to get there and I will never, ever steer you wrong.

She said YES!

Sioux’s Soul took her to Crazytown, realm hopping in other-worldly dimensions, to healers all over the globe (including a currandera in the Mexican desert who put a curse on her), to Meetup groups where they practice Orgasmic Meditation, to dating websites and an exploration of a deeper sexuality. She confronted her family pattern of addiction, and cast her own demons on the fire.

Her Soul’s intention: to heal her of 40 years of psychic garbage.

Though Sioux’s past is full of trauma—sexual trauma when she was a teenager, a series of relationships with addicts, being an eye-witness to 9/11 and giving birth three weeks later in Manhattan while suffering from PTSD, drug rehab for Xanax addiction, and severe anxiety and depression—her Soul leads her to the exact perfect circumstances, healers, rituals and magic spells to heal her and rebuild her life.
